Is it sufficient to go over all the materials on the website to prepare for the final? Do we need to read the textbook as well?
There isn’t a simple answer to this question.
Whatever I ask in exams is included in lecture notes, tutorial notes, the lectures themselves, so there shouldn’t be something new and unknown from the book.
However, books are always more comprehensive, deeper and more elaborate in explanations.
So reading the book may help in understanding certain topics, and expanding your exposure.
You don’t have to read everything. You can pick sections where you feel have less understanding.
